FSP To Launch Precision Medicine Academy to Advance Molecular Pathology Education

The Florida Society of Pathologists (FSP) is pleased to announce that the society will be launching a FSP Precision Medicine Academy, a new initiative designed to enhance and standardize molecular pathology education for pathology professionals across the state. This academy will offer a dynamic platform for continuous learning, featuring an array of educational opportunities, including virtual lectures and webinars, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and both virtual and in-person rotations.

Focused on the critical integration of biomarker testing and molecular pathology, the FSP Precision Medicine Academy will provide pathology trainees and practicing pathologists with a comprehensive resource for professional development. The Academy's outcome-driven curriculum aims to elevate molecular pathology standards through high-quality, accessible content, to help pathologists meet the demands of precision medicine in today’s evolving healthcare environment. In addition to serving as a repository of educational materials, case studies, and virtual programs, the FSP Precision Medicine Academy will support collaboration and knowledge sharing within the pathology community.

The Precision Medicine Academy is supported by educational grants from AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo.
