Board Certified AP/CP Pathologist

Private pathology practice in Southeast Florida is looking for a Board Certified AP/CP Pathologist to join our group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified pathologist to join a staff of nine Pathologists and three PAs servicing the 10th largest public health system in the United States.  We serve a challenging and highly unusual patient population with cases not seen in many practices.  Grow your skills while participating in many challenging and unique cases.  Our flagship hospital has a comprehensive cancer center and a level 1 trauma center.

This opportunity services four hospitals in the greater Fort Lauderdale area with many opportunities for leisure activities. Fort Lauderdale is widely referred to as the “Venice of the United States” with miles of beach, inland waterways, professional sports, and countless outside activities to enjoy when not working.   Miami and Palm Beach are 30 miles away and Orlando and Key West are approximately a 3 hours’ drive. 

Salary is negotiable.  Benefits include malpractice insurance, medical license fees, hospital medical staff dues, group health insurance option, and retirement plan (401k).

There is no weekend sign out.

Requirements:

• AP/CP Board Certification  (required)
• Florida medical license (required)
• Fellowship/subspecialty training preferred – all subspecialties considered
• Ability to communicate with a variety of healthcare professionals
