More Information Coming Soon!
The purpose of the FSP Poster Hall is to stimulate research, provide a venue to share innovative and effective educational programs, showcase unique research projects, and to encourage networking among pathologists
All pathologists are invited to submit case-based posters or research-based posters for inclusion in the Poster Hall. Residents, fellows and medical students are eligible to compete in the FSP Poster Competition for prizes.
Back by popular demand, residents and fellows who are enrolled in a full-time approved training program in pathology or sub-specialty of pathology in the state of Florida are invited to submit and be eligible to participate in the FSP Poster Competition.
The top eligible posters scored during prejudging will advance to final onsite judging and be eligible for prizes. Posters accepted during prescreening but not selected for the Poster Competition will still be displayed in the Poster Hall but not eligible for oral presentation and prizes. If residents, fellows and medical students submit more than one poster for the competition as first author, only their highest scoring poster (as first author) from the prejudging cycle is eligible to advance to the oral presentation, final judging cycle and prize competition at the meeting. You will be notified by email if your poster is selected for the Poster Competition.
The poster author must register for the conference and pay a poster fee of $50 (included on the registration form). All e-posters must be submitted online once the submission portal opens. If your poster is not selected for display in the poster hall, FSP will provide a refund of this fee. Please add @flpath.org to your email "safe senders" or whitelist to ensure you receive important notifications from FSP.

Poster Competition Eligibility
Authors must be a resident or fellow enrolled in a full-time approved training program in pathology or sub-specialty of pathology in the state of Florida to be eligible to participate in the FSP Poster Competition. Medical students enrolled in a MD/DO granting medical school based in the state of Florida are eligible to participate in the Student Poster Competition.
Poster Competition Presentation Process and Awards
Posters submitted for the FSP Resident/Fellow Poster Competition will be pre-screened for eligibility and then subjected to prejudging by a panel of FSP judges to select the top posters to proceed to oral presentation and second judging cycle during the meeting. Similarly, the eligible medical student posters receiving highest prejudging scores cycle will advance to second judging onsite.
The first prejudging will be done before the conference, and it will be a blind review. Lead authors will be contacted by email; in select cases, judges may recommend minor changes to posters prior to presentation. Posters accepted during prescreening but not selected for the Poster Competition will still be displayed but not eligible for oral presentation and prizes. The second judging will be conducted during the live poster presentation at the conference in the FSP Poster Hall, and the author must be present to do oral presentation at designated time. The scores from both judging sessions will be combined to determine the winners.
Below are the major criteria in the prejudging cycle:
During onsite judging, presenters are also scored on their presentation abilities, explanation of research/case report and conclusions, and ability to answer questions and interact with judge.
Onsite judging times will be assigned for residents and fellows that are participating in the Poster Competition, and authors will be notified of their presentation time. Presentation times will occur on Saturday, February 14 so please make plans to be available on this day. All lead poster authors are required to register for the conference taking place on February 13-15, 2026 at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort in Orlando to present their poster to judges.
Winners of the Poster Competition will be announced, and prizes will be awarded on Saturday, February 14.
Prizes for Resident and Fellow Competition
The first-place winner will receive $750, the second-place winner will receive $500, and the third-place winner will receive $250. To be considered for the competition, you must be a resident or fellow and you must submit your poster by the submission deadline.
Prize for the Medical Student Competition
The top poster submitted by a medical student will receive $300.

Pathology is fun, but it can also be hard! Every day, we are faced with challenging cases that require us to open books, read new articles, consult our friends and colleagues, and sometimes consult the experts. To share such cases with our membership, we will be holding our 5th annual Rare & Interesting Case Conference at our winter FSP meeting and we need your help!
Residents and fellows are encouraged to submit their rare and interesting cases for a chance to present at the FSP 2026 Annual Meeting.
How to submit a case
Please submit the information below by November 5, 2025.
Five cases will be chosen to fill an hour-long session. We envision this to be a lively, interactive, educational session for all and look forward to everyone's participation!
