Legislative Update: 2019 Florida Legislative Session Has Ended

The 2019 Florida legislative session has officially ended on Saturday, May 5th, a day later than originally scheduled due to delayed budget negotiations. The FSP had a great deal of issues we were working on, but altogether we came out unscathed this Session.

The Continuing Board Certification: Vision for the Future Commission released its final report on February 12, 2019 to the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Board of Directors. The report included a set of recommendations and calls on ABMS boards to make continuing certification programs more meaningful, relevant and of value to key stakeholders.

FSP 46th (2020) Annual Pathology Conference Highlights

The FSP hosted its 46th Annual Pathology Conference on February 14 to February 16, 2020 in Orlando, Florida at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort . Over 230 pathologists and 43 exhibitors joined us for a fun-filled and educationally packed weekend. The conference featured new breakout sessions on read slide sessions featuring additional pathology topics and innovative sessions on digital pathology as well as an informative lecture on Physician Wellness.

The FSP hosted its 45th Annual Pathology Conference on February 22-24 in Orlando, Florida at the Contemporary Resort.
