FSP Spotlight | Get to Know Emily Volk, MD, MBA, FCAP

Welcome to this edition of the FSP member spotlight. Every month we will highlight a different FSP member who is doing exciting things in the field of pathology. This month we are excited to feature Emily Volk, MD, who has been a Corresponding Member of the FSP since 2017. She has been a member of the College of American Pathologists and served on the Board of Governors since 2013. Dr. Volk was recently elected President-Elect for CAP this past September.

This month we are excited to feature Brett Cantrell, MD, who has been a long time member of FSP. Dr. Cantrell currently serves as the Chair of the FSP’s Legislative Committee and is an At-Large Member of the FSP Board of Directors. He currently serves as Chief of Pathology at Ascension Health in Jacksonville, FL.

Welcome to this edition of the FSP member spotlight. Every month we will highlight a different FSP member who is doing exciting things in the field of pathology. This month we are excited to feature Kritika Krishnamurthy, MD, who has been a member since 2017 and is very active within the society. Recently, Dr. Krishnamurthy was nominated to serve on the newly developed FSP Resident and Fellow Committee. Dr. Krishnamurthy currently serves in the Hematopathology Rotation at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. 

FSP Attended CAP 2019 in Orlando

The FSP attended the CAP 2019 Meeting in Orlando, Florida this past weekend and enjoyed a very informative and engaging meeting with pathologists from all over the country.
